Graphics Designer Intern

Your role & responsibilities

As an intern, you will join our Marketing department at Value Network in executing content creation for the company. You will strengthen our artistic elements and visuals to promote our brand and make it more appealing.

We value creativity, so your ideas will contribute to our growth. You will be given more responsibility as you progress, and once you are up to speed, you will be able to take on some of our projects and test your leadership skills.

Are you eager to learn? Do you have a proactive mindset? We are looking for an intern to join the Marketing  team who can meet the following responsibilities:

Create digital content according to Value Network brand book:

• Edit videos

• Retouch and edit photos

• Create illustrations and visuals

• Create other marketing materials such as  posters, flyers, banners, programs for attendees, powerful templates for e-mailings and newsletters.

What we are looking for

We are a group of motivated collaborators (but you can call us friends 😉)  and are looking for a passionate individual to strengthen our team. Ideally, you recognize yourself in the description below:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, or equivalent. For a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing you have to present your portfolio of your graphic design projects.

• You have experience in branding and visual identity as well as in video & photo editing.

• Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator or alternatives)

• Experience in creating digital media content (Canva, MailChimp, Eventbrite)

• You have a strong attention to detail.

• You have excellent verbal and written skills in English.

• You are flexible and thrive in a startup environment.

• You are highly organized and have no problem respecting timelines and meeting deadlines.

• You can work independently as well as in a team.

• You have a can-do attitude towards challenges and love learning new skills.

• You have a strong sense of ownership and a proactive mindset.

And here's the fun part: To ensure that we maintain a tight-knit team, attendance in the office in Brussels (on Wednesdays) and in Leuven (on Fridays) is mandatory. But don't worry, we guarantee that you will have a great time while you're here!
