Application Developer iOS/Android Intern

Your role & responsibilities

As an intern, you will participate in maintaining and developing our Application. We are seeking a talented and motivated intern with a background in mobile applications to join our team as an Application Developer for iOS and Android platforms. You will also be working on our app whicwhichprovides a platform where individuals can connect and match with like-minded professionals within their industry, fostering conversations and enabling collaboration opportunities for future partnerships.

We value creativity, so your ideas will contribute to our growth. You will be given more responsibility as you progress, and once you are up to speed, you will be able to take on some of our projects and test your leadership skills.

Are you eager to learn? Do you have a proactive mindset? We are looking for an intern to join the Web team who can meet the following responsibilities:

• Maintaining & updating our application

• Making improvements to our app

• Increasing the security of our app

• Improving the UX/UI of our app 

What we are looking for

We are a group of motivated collaborators (but you can call us friends 😉)  and are looking for a passionate individual to strengthen our team. Ideally, you recognize yourself in the description below:

• You are a bachelor’s / master's student preferably in IT/communication or other related courses.

• Fluent in English.

• Programming language: Flutter (knowledge of android JAVA and Swift is a plus)

• Knowledge of database, database management (Firebase) 

• Knowledge of GitHuof GitHub and UI/UX

• Flexible, proactive, take ownership & have excellent project management skills.

• Stress resistant & do not shy away from logistic/administrative tasks.

• You are very organized and have no problem respecting timelines and meeting deadlines.

• You can work independently as well as in a team.

• You have a can-do attitude towards challenges and love learning new skills.

And here's the fun part: To ensure that we maintain a tight-knit team, attendance in the office in Brussels (on Wednesdays) and in Leuven (on Fridays) is mandatory. But don't worry, we guarantee that you will have a great time while you're here!
